The Howard University Alumni Club of Westchester and Rockland
will host its Annual Charter Day Luncheon on Saturday, March
28, 2015 to celebrate the founding of Howard University
and honor distinguished local Howard University alumni.
Honorees: Jim Coleman (Executive Director, Westchester County
Industrial Development Agency) and Alice & Alicia Crowe,
Esq. (Attorneys, Authors, Playwright, Artist).
Charter Day is a time of celebration and is one of the
most important events on the University's annual calendar.
We celebrate because we are grateful for the March 2, 1867,
approval of the University Charter by President Andrew Johnson
for an institution dedicated to the betterment of humanity,
Howard University. Join us as we commemorate the anniversary
